1 large roasted chicken, boneless

250 g black forest ham, coarsely chopped

250 g swiss cheese slices (12)

4 tbsp butter (sauce)

4 tbsp flour (sauce)

3 cups milk (sauce)

2 tbsp lemon juice (sauce)

1 tbsp dijon mustard (sauce)

salt, pepper (sauce)

1/2 tsp paprika (sauce)

1 tbsp fresh chopped parsley (sauce)

4 tbsp melted butter (topping)

1 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs (topping)

1/4 cup of parmesan cheese, fresh grated (topping)

1/2 tsp. of thyme, dry (topping)

1/2 tsp paprika (topping)


1. Preheat the oven to 350 ° F. Butter a 9 x 13 dish. Place the pieces of chicken in the bottom of the dish. Add the ham over and then slices of Swiss cheese.

2. In a medium saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat, add the flour and cook while whisking for 1 minute. Slowly add the milk, whisking constantly.

3. Reduce heat and cook until sauce thickens and bubbles. Remove from the heat and add the other ingredients in the sauce.

4. Pout the sauce over cheese.

5. In a small bowl, mix topping ingredients. Sprinkle on top of the dish. Bake for 45 minutes. Let cool for 10 minutes before serving.
