1 yellow cake mix (cake)

4 eggs (cake)

1 c sour cream (cake)

3/4 c vegetable oil (cake)

1/4 t cinnamon (approximately) (cake)

1/2 c sugar (cake)

1 c brown sugar (filling)

3 t (heaping) cinnamon (filling)

1 c chopped nuts (filling)

6 t milk (icing)

2 c powdered sugar (icing)

1 t vanilla extract (icing)


1. Preheat oven to 325º. Grease (very, very well) a 13" x 9" cake pan.

2. In a mixing bowl, combine by hand the cake mix, eggs, sour cream, vegetable oil, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix well. If you have lumps, that's okay. Mix the filling mixture in a small bowl and set aside.

3. Spread half of the cake mixture in the bottom of the cake pan. Sprinkle half the filling mixture over the cake mixture. Make sure you get mixture over the entire cake. Then, place the rest of the cake mixture in the cake pan and top with the remaining filling mixture. Using a knife, swirl the cake mixtures until they're well blended.

4. Bake at 325º for 45-50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
