Ingredients:

1/2 lb soft margarine

4 large eggs

2 cups brown sugar

2 teaspoons mixed spice

1 large cup milk

3 cups S.R. flour

1 teaspoon vanilla

Directions:

1. Mix ingredients altogether in a large mixer bowl for 8 minutes or until smooth. Place in 8" x 8" Cake tin.

2. Bake at 375 degrees F / 191 degrees C / Gas 5 Moderate oven for 35 to 40 minutes. Ice with coffee icing.
