1 bunch collards (chopped)
1 lg. sweet potato
2 t. butter
1 t. coconut oil
2 cans black-eyes
1 lg. onion
1 lb. smoked sausage
2 cups chicken or bone broth
s/p to taste
a little slap ya mama
garlic powder
red pepper flakes
2 t. liquid smoke or to taste
1. Dice onions and sweet potatoes and sauté them in butter and coconut oil. Add black-eyes and collards and broth.
2. Let this cook down for about 45 minutes and add sliced sausage and spices. Cook on medium to low fire for another 15 minutes.
