2 pounds of fresh brussels sprouts (washed, trimmed and cut into pieces)

16 oz of bacon cut into strips

1.5 cups of heavy whipping cream

3 teaspoons of minced garlic

1/2 cup of fresh shredded mozzarella cheese

1/3 cup of fresh shredded parmesan cheese

2 tablespoons of butter

salt and pepper to taste

onions and/or mushrooms


1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Fry and drain bacon and set aside. Leave 2 to 3 tablespoons of bacon grease in the pan. Adjust the amount to your taste. Add butter to the bacon greased pan and then add the brussels sprouts. Season with salt and pepper and cook until slightly brown, or about 5-7 minutes.

3. Add garlic and stir until mixed. Add the heavy whipping cream and reduce heat to simmer until tender or about 4-5 minutes. Add the cooked bacon pieces to the pan and mix everything up.

4. Pour the pan into a casserole dish. Top with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.

5. Bacon oven until golden brown or about 15 to 18 minutes.
