2 lbs. lean ground beef

1 large onion, diced

1 garlic clove, minced

1 small cabbage, chopped

1 cup rice

2 (14 1/2 ounce) cans diced tomatoes

1 (8 ounce) cans tomato sauce

1/2 cup water

1 teaspoon ground black pepper

1 teaspoon sea salt


1. In a large skillet or Dutch oven, brown the ground beef and onions. Drain.

2. Add the garlic and cook an additional minute.

3. Add remaining ingredients.

4. Bring to a boil, cover, reduce the heat and simmer about 25 minutes or until the cabbage is tender.
