1/2 c Karo (light corn) syrup
1/2 c brown sugar
1/4 c heavy cream
2 tbs margarine
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp cinnamon
2 (17oz) cans yams (drained)
1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Combine first 6 Ingredients: in a sauce pan.
3. Bring to a boil and let boil for 5 minutes, until thickened.
4. Place yams in a deep baking dish (one large enough to accommodate the sauce) and pour sauce over them.
5. Bake 15 minutes or so.
