1 large onion chopped
1/4 c. of butter plus 1 to 2 t divided
1 head of cabbage chopped up
16 oz pkg. wide egg noodles or your choice of pasta
seasonings garlic powder
1. In a stockpot. Med heat, sauté the onion in 1/4 cup of the butter. Add the cabbage, stir and mix well. Add your seasonings. Cover and simmer on low for 45 min. to 1 hour be sure and stir occasionally. The Cabbage will Cook Down.
2. Meanwhile cook your noodles, drain add your noodles or pasta into the cabbage mixture. Stir in rest of the butter.
