2 cans of red beans drained and rinsed
1 1/2 tbls butter
1/2 tsp garlic salt
1/8-1/4 tsp liquid smoke flavoring
1/4 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 cups water
salt and pepper to taste
1. Combine ingredients in a sauce pan, bring to boil. Stir Constantly and mash some of the beans with a potato masher.
2. Cook for about 20 Minutes, until the broth has thickened. Serve over or under cooked rice.
